Many of your novels are very dream-like and deal with subconscious thoughts and desires. However, my favorite novel of yours is Norwegian Wood, which is a somewhat stark contrast to most of your other novels in this sense. Your newest novel, Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki, is similar to Norwegian Wood, but I was wondering if you are ever planning to write in that same vein of realism again. Thanks!

Congratulations! Your mail is the 4000th mail I have received. Wow!
Thank you for reading my books. When I write a novel I really don’t care if it has a realistic style or a "dream-like" style. Materials define the style each time, not I. They are all realistic to me in any way. What is reality? What is a dream? Nobody knows the difference.
